Cancellation Policy
Shield Appliance requires 24 hours time notice if the appointment is to be canceled or rescheduled. Shield Appliance is a contact to meet service. This means that a call will be made by a technician, then a text will be sent to confirm the appointment. Shield Appliance considers any non-confirmation during these attempts of the appointment within a reasonable response time canceled. No charges or fees will be made as long as the technician has not left Gillette, WY city limits. The volume of service calls and the territory covered makes this a necessary protocol for Shield Appliance. Because the service area of Shield Appliance covers several territories, any appointment out of Gillette, WY city limits, in which traveled without notice of rescheduling or cancellation will be considered "missed," and the fault will rest with the person(s) on the form of the appointment, and will accrue a charge of the standard Fuel Charge, of $20.00 U.S., and the Diagnostic fee of $75.00 U.S. This charge will be invoiced and must be paid before we accept any future appointment for repair.
